Population density was obtained from the 2004 release of [http://www.ornl.gov/sci/landscan LandScan] data, with the square kilometer resolution. These data served always as a base for any infrastructure placement, as long as given infrastructure availability is correlated with the population density.

Statistical data such as the age and gender distributions in the society, as well as the distributions of households, workplaces, schools, etc were obtained from the [http://www.stat.gov.pl National Census Bureau], in particular from
[http://www.stat.gov.pl/bdren_s/app Polish Regional Data Bank]. The available age and household data was in the [[Socio_module:Data | voivodeship]] resolution, the information concerning the numbers of schools was given for each [[Socio_module:Data | commune]].
